Anyone remember this christian cartoon? I remember watching it when I was about 7-8 years old or so on VHS. It was about these kids (One of them was named Peatey or something...) and they were in this magic land and they were learning about the Ten Commandments (The Original Top Ten)...I also remember a song...

"Following the lovelight...
Let the lovelight lead.

Following the lovelight...
you'll find everything you need."

Anybody remember anything about it?

What can you remember from it? I remember bits and pieces, but not a whole lot. I remember the first couple of scenes in a diner, and the big boy "Peatey" eating french fries...I also remember a song about not telling lies, "Sop, Stop, Stop before you Steal". "Don't Kill", "Following The Lovelight"...but that's more or less it.

Anyone else remember?

Umm...I remember the diner and fries thing, like you mentioned, and I remember the lovelight song...I also remember the scene with all the idols, and they were singing about not having anything else before God...But that's about it. XD

Nope. If memory serves, they stayed cartoons throughout the whole movie. I did my research, and I discovered there was another Kingdom Chums movie made where the characters did turn into cartoons, but on "The Original Top Ten" they were cartoons throughout.

That was probably the case. I remember a Kingdom Chums where the kids turned into cartoons, though I believe the Bible story in the episode I saw was something other than the 10 Commandments (I'm thinking it was David & Goliath, though I'm not certain on that). Probably all part of the same franchise. In any case, this thread takes me back. :)

I don't remember the lyrics [it's been ages], but it was a rock song about idols. They had an anthropomorphic cat or something that sang and played the electric guitar. All I knew was that it was rock, and it was catchy.
