Be it the BBC or NBC version, it's the greatest show to ever air on television (both are, but the BBC one is still better).

Discuss.

i've seen the NBC version and i LOVE IT!!!! i love the episode where michael and dwight go to the dojo and fight it out. I also love the one where michael burns his foot in the george forman grill... "the rules of shotgun are simple and clear..." and then when he's going on about how he has a disability... the comedy insues.

I frequently watch the American version, and I do own the first season.

However, it really isn't quite as good as the original. Ricky Gervais > Steve Carrell.

I've never seen the original, but I love the NBC version. It's become one of my favorite shows currently on tv. I plan on buying the DVD when I get a chance.

*Gravedug'd!*

Ok, so since I started watching this show about...well, probably a little less than a month ago, I figured I'd search for a thread on it. XD So here I am!

I LOVE this show (the American version; I haven't gotten around to watching the BBC version yet). XD I watched the first two seasons on DVD within a week, and I'm all caught up with the new episodes, up to tonight's. Jim is definitely my favorite character, probably followed by Dwight, and then Michael. They're all SO funny! I especially liked Michael's ramblings about "Phyllis Farms" in tonight's ep. XD Something about Steve Carell's facial expressions and voice inflections in that scene was just awesome. XD I also LOVED the scene where Jim sent a fax to Dwight, from "Future Dwight". Seeing Dwight tackle Stanley and his coffee was priceless. XD

Oh, and my favorite episode is definitely the one where Michael burns his foot on the George Foreman Grill. XD "Everyone...Ryan...who is supposed to be dead..." XD It's great. :thumb:

Over the course of season 2, my opinion has changed a lot. The US version is definitely better.

And tonight's episode was one of the best of the series.

Are you reffering to the Scranton branch merger? Or the crossover episode with the British Office?

Either way it's going to be awsome.

The crossover episode, sadly, ain't gonna happen. However, "The Convict" was written by Ricky Gervais and Steve Merchant, which will be the episode after the next one ("The Merger").

After listening to a friend's advice, I have watched several episodes on the Internets, and I must say I am hooked.
