I'm proud to say that as a child I actually owned every one of the Kenner non-plush figurines. My favorites were Friend Bear, Secret Bear, (especially when they made him/her deaf when Nelvana took over. I thought it was rather bold.), Wish Bear, and Bright-Heart Raccoon.

I actually don't remember it much, but I used to watch the original show all the time when I was little, or was it just a short series of movies? I forget... I don't remember the characters well enough to say which was my favortie, except maybe the lion... I liked the lion, I think... My school sent out newsletters telling all the parents to forbid the children from watching it because someone who made it had some connection to a porn studio... One of many shows I wasn't allowed to watch after about 1st grade or 2nd grade...

I vaguely remember one that I saw a lot, that was about a soap box derby... They made a rainbow wheel for one that broke, and fixed all the sabotage that someone had done. Meh, I was really into that when I was a kid... That and pound puppies... And smurfs (another show I was later forbidden to watch)

Stupid watchdog groups... Of course, I'm pretty darn sure I wouldn't watch it now even for nostalgia... Sesame Street, on the other hand (pre elmo only)

Yes -- I've always been a Care Bears fan! My favorites were the first two movies, which I unashamedly own on DVD. ^___________________________________^

I loved them too! Had some stuffed animals of them... can't remember how many I kept though. Actually the second movie was one of the first VHSs I owned as a crib kid (knew how to work the VCR then). But, I was mad at myself for selling it! So, I did the next best thing and downloaded it because the movie store only carried the first movie. Wasn't a big fan of the first movie when I saw it on TV as a little kid, cause the second one was total nostalgia. But as I rewatched the second movie again there was sooooo much I had forgotten and it slowly all came back to me, and I had the songs stuck in my head for about a week >_<
My favorites were... well, I always thought the Care Bear Cousins were interesting, since they weren't bears. Either than that... can't remember who my favs were really. Liked them all really^^

The Care Bears were my favorite TV show when I was a kid. I remember I used to think that atleast one of them (The one with the pony tail, in the Disney version) was so cool. I wanted to be like her when I grew up.

There were 2 old cartoon movies of it, but they weren't Disney. Not sure what company made it.

Nelvana. The same company that butchered Cardcaptors.

You know, I kept thinking it was Nelvana for some reason but I was also thinking "The Carebear cartoons Canadian?! Nah..."

I'm not a FAN, really, but I did used to watch the TV show, so I guess that counts for something.

You know, I'm reminded of a bizarre wizard in my party who was a dimension hopper...he told us about this weird world on the clouds with these rainbow colored bears who subjected him to barrages of Color Spray spells...so he threw wave after wave of fireballs into their ranks until...

Er, I think I'll stop there. <.<;; >.>;;

I loved the Care Bears when I was little, I don't really remember much beyond vague impressions of the show, but for nostalgia's sake I watched the movies a couple of years ago. The 'Care Bears in Wonderland' is the better of the two. ^^;;; I think my favorites were Grumpy Bear (most fav), Good Luck Bear, Tender Heart, Swift Heart, and Brave Heart. (note, Grumpy's food rap at the end of the Wonderland movie is great XD ) ^^;

It saddens me that they redid the show in CG and totally dumbed it down. *shakes fist* eh-heh... ^^;;;

I mispoke. I meant in whatever version was played in Disney's toon block in the early afternoon several years ago.
