Two: (and this is the most cynical) He's making movies in order to have them fail. His company gets its money from German companies who wants these movies to fail because then he can get a huge tax-write-off for them thanks to a loophole in German tax-law. This loophole is soon going to get fixed. If it does, then we'll see if Boll is still going to make movies.
