New York Yankee fans and baseball fans in general(other than those
weird people in Boston)can now rejoice that all is once more right
as the Baseball Gods have found it fit to return the proper balance with
the Red Sox lost to the White Sox in the ALDS.

Sorry Boston no dynasty for you you had your chance!

Hmm... a team that has the most expensive players in the whole league wins again?

Looks like the villains of baseball will reap the rewards once more.

Dang...and I always thought the point of sports teams was to get all the good players for your team. That's how we used to do it in P.E.

excuse me? I am not from boston. I am from Maine. Maine has no team. It is therefor heavily a redsocks zone. Your previous parenthetical remark should be reworded as "(other than those weird people in Boston, and much of the rest of new england)

If you are going to refer to us socks fans as wierdos you ought to at least have the decency to include the wierdos in Maine and New Hampshire as well.

You mean like the '97 Marlins? I guess you could end free agency, but other than that this kind of thing is not going to change and hardly new.

Die. Die a horrible death. Burn. Burn. Burn!

And as Scribs said, include the Mainers.

Anywyas the point is that Baseball is back to normal with the Red Stockings back where they belong...Loosing.What is baseball if the Red Sox actually WIN?
Well I guess Red Sox fans have another 50 years or so to wait!

I have relatives from New Jersey who are fervent Yankee fans(except for one cousin who roots for the Mets),so I guess it's catchy.

Wonder how long it how long it will take for Tom Dincht and his weird apostrophes to chime in and say this thread isn`t appropriate.

Song excerpts dedicated to the Yankees:

Na na na na, hey hey-hey, goodbye
Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye

~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
Hit the road, Jack
And don't you come back no more, no more, no more, no more
Hit the road, Jack
And don't you come back no more
(What you say?)
Hit the road, Jack
And don't you come back no more, no more, no more, no more
Hit the road, Jack
And don't you come back no more
