What's your thoughts on this movie?
I love this movie even though its can get pretty darn sick (first ten minutes especially) and perverse. The highlight off course is the "Springtime for Hitler" musical number and the hippy-style "Love Power" song. And Gene Wilder is hillarious as the mild-mannered accountant with his blue-blanket and Zero Mostel is also great as the greasy Max Bialystock. Not everyone will love this movie (since it has a distinct taste) but I recommend it if you're in a very silly mood.
Also, for those who've seen it, what do you think about the Will Ferrel, Matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane remake set to be released by the end of the year?
Favourite Line: "I'm wet! I'm hysterical and I'm wet!" (gets slapped) "I'm in pain. And I'm wet! And I'm still hysterical!"
