Anyone remember this trilogy? It was, and still is, one of my favorites. A true classic. Any thoughts?

I love all three of those movies... A film series that tried to bring back the serial, even though they didn't succeed... (lotr may have succeeded) That in itself is worth something, but these are classics... So many quotable lines, and... Man... I need to watch them again... Netflix! Anyhow, that is all... i shall leave now...

What a great series! One of the best! My favourites are "Back to the Future Part 1" and "Back to the Future Part 3". Haha.

I agree with you BSJ. Number 2 just didnt have the light-hearted feel that the others did.

Part Two, despite the jokes around getting back the characters from the sequel finding the plot overlapping into the first part, was just very average. Its interesting and never boring but just duller compared to the others.

The trilogy are some of my favourite movies. 2 I didn't enjoy as much as 1 and 3. It was a fair bit darker and I don't really have a problem with that usually in movies, but it didn't have the charm of the others because of this.

I will be the voice of dissentment and say that 2 was actually my favorite. 1 is truely a better movie, but for some reason I always liked 2 the best. I think it is because of the overlaping plot.

What makes 2 worse than the others?

I don`t remember where 3 started.

"Clint Eastwood? What kinda' stupid name is that?"

XD those were good movies. Yet, the one where he actually went into the future I didn't like as much

Aw, I own this trilogy! ^_^ I like Back to the Future 1 the best, though. I guess just because it's the first one, and a lot of the jokes and events from the first one kind of got worn out in the second and third. 3 was okay, and 2 was mediocre, but 1 just had that...I don't know what to call it, but it was better than the other two! ^_^

When I was younger, my family watched this *a lot.*

I absolutely, positively LOVED the scene in the first one, with the clock tower, and trying to time everything just right, and the lightning.

It seemed to me like the perfect culmination of action and suspense. Everything coming together -- must make it -- can't make it -- have to make it -- time running out -- obstacles... I love that scene.
