Batman Begins! Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale might bring Batman movies back to the spirit of the comics and of the first two movies. It comes out June 17th.

I second that, Yojimbo. I can't wait!

I'm also interested in the fantastic 4 movie--if nothing else, it's got some cool CG stuff in it (which is the sole reason I saw Robots; I'm quite interested in CGI). I believe it comes out July 4th.

It also does not hurt that Jessica Alba is in Fantasic Four. *Round of cheers from all the guys*

X-Men 3 of course, with Angel, Beast and Gambit making a appearance, 2006 or 7, so theres still some time to wait.
FF looks alright aswell, hopefully they pulled it off okay.

i'm a big fan of super hero movies... ^^

i'm looking forward to Fantastic 4, and hoping that they pull it off right.

also looking forward to Batman Begins, and X-Men 3, and Spiderman 3 whenever that comes out a while down the road. and i may be wrong, but i have heard mutterings about a new Superman movie, as well as a Magneto movie spin-off from X-Men.

one i'm not looking forward to is the mutterings i have heard about a Hulk 2. didn't like the first one, personally.

Brian Singer has quit X3 to do the next Superman film.

Batman might be good, but I'm skeptical.
Fantastic Four=garbage.
Spiderman 3=well, third time's the charm. Seeing as the first two were great, the last film should be a masterpiece, but will most likely not live up to it's mile-high expectations.

Hmm...as far as answering the question...*laughs*

Batman Begins looks awesome
Spiderman 3 of course
Punisher 2 (I am still holding hope it will happen)
X-3(Gambit better get a cool part)

I also hope the new Superman film bombs just go bite Singers butt for bailing on xmen.

And I hope the next Evil Dead bombs, just because I'm evil, and not dead.

I'm really looking forward to Fantastic Four. Looks like they did a great job on it. I'll see Batman Begins I think but I'm not sure if I'll like it since my favorite actor is the villain. I'm sure he'll do well, but I don't like seeing him as a bad guy. Strange too since Ra's Al Ghul is Tibetan, not Japanese.
If we're talking about movies beyond this year also, I'm looking forward to several others, most noteably Spider-Man 3 and X-Men 3.

Are you being completely random, or was this suposed to goad me towards somthing? Bailing on one project to do another is ignorant to the fans who are the ones paying to let these people make a living playing make belive on the big screen.

i am looking foward to Superman Returns, but i don't have nearly the same ammount of repect for BS (bryan singer, not to be confused with anything else...) because of bailing on the better comic book characters.

I too am looking foward to Batman Begins.

me too, Watanabe may play a villain, but i look foward to his acting performance, and i don't think that will bother me at all, especially if they get me looking at the actors in the roles as "these are THE CHARACTERS, they aren't actors fighting, they are the comic book characters" then i will enjoy it alot. :P
can't wait for Fantastic Four and Batman Begins, i think those are the big remaining films comic-wise this year (that i have heard of for 2005)
I saw Elektra and loved it (infact i just bought it on DVD just around a half hour ago), so I am eager to see what else this year will bring. I have to sit out Sin City until the DVD is out, because it is R rated, but once i can, i'll rent it off netflix. COME ON FF AND BB!

well, I don't have much faith in hollywood as a whole because it is too corrupt. But I look foward hopefully to the newest films regarding what I am interested in, besides, it gives me, someone with practically no social life, something to look foward to and feel good by.

I'm not a big movie fan, but there are actually a fair number of impending movies I may see. Most likely the third movies in the Spiderman and X-Men series. I'll wait to see what others say about the Fantastic Four, as well as the Superman and Batman movies.

yeah, seems like those are obviously the most popular hero films. Though, so far, the only newer Marvel film(s) I hate are the Blade ones because I hate Blade. (saw most of the first film on tv once). But, while I am alone in this (so it seems), I loved alot of comic-book films, from everytime timeline, whether others did or not.

such as Daredevil, Elektra, Hulk, Punisher, Batman Forever, etc.

Yes, movies can be dissappointing at times. Which is why I have built up a healthy addiction to BOOKS! Yes, books are wonderful, especially if there are no good movies out.

Anyway, I think the movie I am looking forward to the most is Spiderman 3, whenever it comes out. Spidey and Batman are my two favorite super-heroes, but I'm a bit skeptical of the new Batman movie, just because there have been so many bad ones.

What about Hollywood Florida? Hm, Volt? VEC? We're Floridians...

And I want a Handi-Man movie.

All I've seen is a poster, but I'm looking forward to Fantastic Four. (Jessica Alba is in it? Suhweet!) I've always liked the cartoons anyway.

Oh, and the inevitable Spider-Man 3... But I have no idea when that will be out.

I think it's hard for Hollywood to do comic books. The mediums are too different, unless it's animated. Face it, an animated Wolverine looks menacing in yellow spandex, but no real man can.

That said, I'm still pretty excited about the Batman movie and the Fantastic Four. I'm hoping Batman returns some respect to the character lost in the last set of movies and F4 looks, well, fantastic.

X-3 could be good - I'll probably go see it, but I've been kind of put off by the series. I never really bought in to the changes they made to the characters (especially to Rogue). But that's mostly because the new Rogue basically replaced my favorite X-man - Jubilee. She made a quick appearance in the last movie, but just as a student of the school.

Spider-Man's been a good series and a lot deeper than your typical Hollywood take on the super-hero genre. The third movie should be just as good. I was, however, very disappointed with the second movie.

The story was good, but the scene with Doc Oc in the hospital was way too intense. It really made me mad and affected the way I watched the rest of the movie. I mean, the scenes in House on Haunted Hill were no more intense than that one was, and you know young kids are going to be in the audience regardless of the PG-13 rating (and I think that scene alone should have elevated it to R).

If the expectation was that only adults and older teens were going to be watching that movie, I wouldn't have had a problem with the scene.

They screwed up by not having Gambit in there either.

Gambit will be in X3, as well as Beast and Angel.

as for Spidey 2, that is my all-time favorite movie, I LOVED IT, it was just so beautiful and I found so many symbolisms related to my faith in it, I felt I was litterally in the film, in the place of the characters and could really feel what they felt. It was very moving and incredibly well made.

Spidey 3 looks awesome as always, but I am very disappointed by the news that the villains will be
Sandman and Hobgoblin
. I really wanted Lizard and Green Goblin II, and then for a 4th and final film, Venom.

Off all the Spiderman villains I like "The Sandman" the least. As villains go...he's about as interesting as dried acrylic windowsill paint.
