Lady Flames 9th Try at the Big Dance!

My schools Women's BBall team has made their 9th trip to the Big Dance. Seeded #13, the play Penn State tonight at 9:30! Please cheer for tehm if you don't already have a team you're going for ^^

And my Tennessee Vols killed Western Carolina, 94 to 43 tonight too. YAY! :thumb:

This is the first time in NCAA history that a #13 seed has made it to the 2nd round.... O I hope they win! Thanks for the support for our team spiritsword! ^^

We made it to the Sweet 16 babee!
LSU is next on the list, pray we continue winning and our girls keep spreading their testimonies for God's glory in the NCAA! ^_^

That's so awesome, Kisa! I'll be rooting for them. But, LSU looks *very* tough. If Liberty wins, it will truly be on God's strength and will, so it would indeed be an opportunity to glorify God.

Well, the ladies finally lost to LSU, but they made it so far and we are proud of them! They definitley turned some heads and got the national focus on our little school ^^

Congrats Kisa, it is always fun to watch a little school with no national recognition get some spotlight when they make it deep in the NCAA Tourney. The ladies played great against a very tough LSU team.

Yes definitley, some of the girls are in my classes and they were very happy ^^
LSU almost made it to the final as well... I was cheering for them too after the Liberty defeat....
