The answer they'll give is that it was edited for "time constraints," but it's merely because I guess they think someone will complain if they play that sound bite. The radio does the same thing. They'll play Switchfoot on the secular stations because it doesn't mention Jesus. If it did, they wouldn't play it.

well, I dunno...that phrase is sort of...well, blasphemous. think of all the angry phone calls they probably would have gotten from Christians for showing that.

Yes, that's probably the reason. TNT did a major editing job to the film in terms of profanity and blasphemous uses of God's name. For instance, Godd----" got edited to "d---" and (I'm not kidding) "Jesus Christ" became "Judas priest." There were others, but I don't feel like including them right now...

I found that to be pretty much the most offensive thing in the 3 Matrix movies...so hearing it got cut...*snaps fingers* oh darn.

I hear ya, Shatterheart. I was just saying that a lot of people noted that the major dialogue changes were somewhat weird. I also think they were weird, but hey, it was nice to not have to hear it.

Hmm agreed. I didnt personally like that or someother things either, I am glad it was cut.

Probably because people would think it was blasphemy.

I almost feel sorry for them. They really can't win. If they leave that phrase in, they upset many conservative christians. If they cut it out, they anger the many matrix fans.

I'm actually kinda glad.
