All I have to say is that Live (one of my favorite bands of all time) and Chris Daughtry stole the show.

Other than that, watching the finale was absolute torture.

I have a feeling that he will get shafted a la Ruben Studdard, as in although technically the winner, he will have the limelight stolen from him from the runner up. Man, I just want to punch Clay Aiken in the face right now.[/spoiler]

With Ruben, I heard that it's probably because they can't really promote a "big person", well unless they can rap I guess :/ (At least this day and age). And also, anyone heard from Fantasia recently? Guess that Bo dude stole her whole thing :/

But yeah as you said with [spoiler] the media playing up to Katherine, knowing she fits the "pop idol" look and all, glad Taylor won cause he's a great guy and a great performer and all.
