I love Bioncles. In fact I still have them(don't have much of the newer stuff).

The Bioncle storyline is pretty weak. And their video games are epic fail.

I liked Naruto.

However, no one should be ashamed to have liked Power Rangers. It was an awesome show.

No making fun of you. But you just made me remember a Ron White joke.

Yeah but Stephen King also says the Left Behind books are really good and well-written books, so his opinion is worth about as much as my toenail clippings.

I've been thinking about this one for a while. At first I thought my answer was just "No" but I realized that while I'm not ashamed of anything I like, I'm not happy with how I liked a variety of series. It's not all that long ago that I wasn't a very critical thinker, so occasionally an old piece of writing comes back to haunt me.

Billy Joel's way more talented. I don't think 98 degrees even has a grammy.

My dad and I spent last night working on a puzzle and watching Star Trek TNG. I'm not sure if I mentioned this before but he has the entire series on DVD.

You at least skipped right to the third season, right?

No, we were several episodes into the first season. CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER, MAN!
But I was so disturbed when Riker showed up and I thought, "No...facial hair?" It's like Ishikawa in Tachikomatic Days, he can just take it off.

He did the song in Frequency, right? I love that song. Still. Today. No problem admitting it. I'd still rather listen to Country than most rap.

I'm not truly embarrassed by anything I like, but I get the idea I SHOULD be embarrassed about some things, like angsty movies and books. I'm not, really, though. I mean, it's just I don't know what to say when people go off on the topic.

Why would you be embarrassed for liking Garth Brooks, he's big for a reason! Anyway, I'm not embarrassed for anything per-say but if I do get picked on a lot for liking Pokemon (games and series.)

Well, as far as anime goes - I'm a total sucker for reverse-harem shoujo titles. And I don't just mean the awesomeness that is Ouran High School Host Club, either. I mean things like Hanasakeru Seishounen, La Corda D'Oro...and I just started Neo-Angelique Abyss. I guess Sainkoku Monogatari would also fit into this, but there's a lot more going on in that story than just love dodecahedrons, so maybe not. At any rate, I'm not embarrassed about that one. lol. Also, I posted about this in the "surprised I liked it" thread, but...Vampire Knight.

Now, when it comes to music, I have very eclectic tastes. I go from full on Bel Canto opera to things like Nickelback and Skillet. And some of the stuff in between...I have a hard time admitting to. For example....

I guess I have a difficult time admitting to being an old Sailormoon fan in public, though my avatar is from Sailormoon, the only people that would normally know that are people that watched it.

Artemis is a Character I really connect with. There could be a girl I fit with perfectly, in fact I'm the only one who fits with her (hypothetically) and she would still fall in love with an astronaut and feel disgusted by the idea of being with me. "Not if you were the last person on earth" and all that. There are only 2 talking cats in existence in the show. And Luna falls for a human. And scratches Artemis for hitting on her. I mean... come on.

It's not just Artemis I liked about the show, though. It was just deeper than the other crap on TV at the time, and that says a lot because it's not really that deep. A lot of good memories attached to that show.

I sat here thinking for awhile, and I realized that the more off-beat something is, the more I don't mind telling people I like it. I hate 'cool'. So yes, I like what I've seen of tokyo mew mew and angelic layer. And I get away with it cause when people start to josh me about it I get all scary and say something like, "Well I like it." Then they back off and use the "It's not my sorta thing..." line. Bua-hahaha. So what if I've listened to Hamster Dance party and have songs from "Moose tunes for kids" memorized?

-When I was a kid, I loved N'Sync, the Backstreet Boys, and pokemon.
-My role model was Knuckles the Echidna, and I wanted to be him/be just like him as much as possible.
-When it first came out, I would sing the digimon theme song for the first anime EVERY TIME it came on.
-I loved goosebumps, but was so scared of Slappy from "Night of the Living Dummy" that I put my blanket over my head to shield myself at night - for 3 years straight (that is, 5-8).

-I watched blues clues with my siblings until I was nine - every afternoon, and just before homeschool.

-I used to like eating butter raw; just big, fat, chunks of butter.

I like to watch Disney chanel shows for the purpose of making fun of them.

Phineas and Ferb is brilliant. They make fun of themselves so I don't have to. :)

When I was really young (and didn't have good taste), I liked the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime. There, I said it. I still can't believe I ever liked it in the first place.

another 80's cartoon I'm embarassed to admit I liked is Jem. You see, that was targeted at girls. Why did they have to make the songs so catchy?
