I think Bo didn't quite do himself much justice last night, which is prolly why he didn't win...
it's a shame for sure...

Did any of you hear what Bo's Pastor said in the interviews afterward? He said they all prayed for the Lord's will to be done and have no problems with the results. Bo has always come off really humble and they rest assured in the fact, God's will was done.
And I'm with you, VioletEyedCat, I'm buying Bo's CD and then buying my friends the CD as gifts. Bo definitely had my votes.
I also agree that Carrie was not the powerhouse singer that Kelly Clarkson or Fantasia was. It was a total toss up for me because I do like both of them. But, country music is a really popular genre and she got the vote, so my rockin' Bo lost. T__T
All is good, though, and he is now free to make a great CD with Clive Davis and use his own music and he's free from the contract you have to follow when you win AI - where they basically OWN you for the next one to three years. I forget exactly how long it is.
And, I loved the show they put on with the the 10 finalists and George Benson and all of them did that medley of songs. They all did really well and this was definitely the best group of singers they've ever had on AI.
Probably the medley and the skit with Simon's ego were my fave parts (I'm with you Kireihana) of the show which seemed to never end. But, I got to hear Bo sing and that was worth it. He and Carrie's voice blend really well together.

I misseed comenting on last night and I was going to comment on it today but there was a thunderstorm and had to turn off my compy I kinda forgot after it passed and didn't realize till the results show >.>; I have to say both Bo and Carrie were awsome last night but they both seemed really uncoftorable.
I'm sad Bo lost but I figured Carrie was going to win, she seemed to have the biggest fanbase out of all of them. We will definatly buy both there CD's

LOL I admit that the only votes I ever made throughout this season were in the finales for Bo.
My true sentiments about this are accurately depicted by Golden_Griff. \m/ Go Bo! But to be fair, I'm pretty sure the two are great singers and am pretty contented with the outcome (especially after hearing about it from Chloe).

OK, this looks so dumb. . . I'm commenting a whole three days after the finale. . . and everybody else let this thread die already. . . But what can I say? I was out of town!!!
First of all--- the depressing news. I missed the Tuesday night performance *weeps*. We set our condo VCR to record THE WRONG CHANNEL. Yeah, I cried. Well, not really, I more pined very sorrowfully, it was very very sad. This was the one episode I've been hoping for and looking forward to all season, just Bo and Carrie, and I missed it. My friend is going to let me borrow the tape at church tomorrow, but it's just not the same after its all said and done.
I was glad that Carrie won because I thought she would take losing a lot harder than Bo would. He was such a sweetie about it, so I was happy. And he gets a totally awesome car. 'Nuff said.
That special about Simon was so funny, especially if you had seen the special on ABC about that "scandal" between Paula and Cory whatever-his-name. I wish I could just buy that on DVD and keep it forever (I wish I could buy the fake Simon scandal that is, not the corny Paula/Cory whatever-his-name one). . .
Well, that's it for my pathetic three-days-too-late opinion. Can't wait to do this again next year!
