Lights Off or On?

TV, Movies, Sports...you can find it all in here.

I'm not sure where you heard this -- there's no evidence to suggest this is true, or else everyone who goes to the movies regularly would also suffer. After all, it's a big TV in a dark room, more or less ...

Seriously? I've heard Termyt's warning many times, most often at the beginning of fansubs.

I guess I'm the only person who prefers having the lights on all the time.

Like Shatterheart, I HAVE to watch a horror movie in the dark or I pitch a royal fit. I'm not as picky about other kinds of movie, but if I'm watching movies by myself, there is little to no lighting on. I can't stand watching a movie or playing video games when it's daylight out if the blinds are open.

Light usually doesn't bother me. Lights dimmed at most, for much the same reason as termyt's myth/warning.

Change to Shatter-chan. ;)

I don't turn off the lights when I watch a movie. It just would never occurs to me.

Also, we have a parrot, and if I turned off the lights, she would get frightened -- so I doubt I'll take it up. ^^

Heh. And think of the usernames I could make for you two. Tweddle Dee and Tweddle Dumb jump to mind. Now who gets the dubious honor of being Dumb...

Ooooo that hurts, ARK. And now you're doing a DOUBLE whammie with your sig AND avatar. ;P

For those of you who watch movies with the lights on...because you're used to the lights, does going to a movie theater and watching a movie in the dark bother you?

Dragonshimmer, I hope your not bad mouthing my avatar. Because in my always humble opinion (mwaha) It is quite possibly the best avatar ever made by a man. I found that last night while combing through Ash pictures. Admit it, your a chick and you feel more manly just looking at that boomstick wielding powerhouse.
