Ad-Aware 2007 on Windows Vista

Is anybody here using Ad-Aware 2007 Free on Vista? I got a new Sony notebook with Vista Home Premium, installed Ad-Aware 2007 on it (old notebook was XP with Ad-Aware SE), and it keeps crashing with some weird error message about something not being a "drawable surface."

Some brief Google research indicates that Ad-Aware SE worked OK on Vista and Ad-Aware 2007 was specifically designed to work with it...yet 2007 doesn't work for me, and I can't find SE available to download anywhere anymore.
