Blocking sites with IE 6.0

Postby Rysing_Furi » Fri Mar 18, 2005 9:14 pm

G'day,
I was just wondering, is there any way I can completely block sites with IE 6.0? I know there's a restricted list...thingy, but it sometimes doesn't block the sites, all it says is "restricted site" on the lower right. So is there anything I can do? I don't want to end up on some site owned by the japanese mafia or something .
Don't fret because of evil men, or envy those who sin, for like the grass they'll wither soon, like plants they'll die away, for they soon will die away. Trust in God do good and dwell in safety in the land, delight yourself in God alone, and He will give to you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, trust Him and He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn and the justice of your cause shine like the noon day sun. Sons of Korah - Psalm 37

Hmm... What exactly is it you are trying to accomplish? If you want to block sites on a semi-permanent basis, you can always point the URL for them to a different IP (dns aliasing). Would that work? It's not actually in IE, per se, but it would effectively do it. Without knowing context, though, I'm not sure how much help I'm going to be.
