Go to the view menu and highlight toolbars.
Click any of the toolbars you want to see.
You can "dock" them to the main portion of word by draging them to the top of the screen toward the top menu bar.

YIKES, you have big problems my friend. My advice is reinstal Word if you can. If not....I'd have to think about it for a bit.....

Or you could get OpenOffice offline from
Openoffice.org. :)

I have OpenOffice.org as well. It is a complete MSOffice clone....FREE, it includes compatability with Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, and adds the ability to turn any of those types of documents into PDF files....have you heard anything bad about it yet?

Aside from switching to OpenOffice, first....lets make sure we understand eachother. Often, when you put in the instal disc for a program you already have it gives you three options. Fix/Rapair, Re-Instal, and Un-Instal. I do not know what the Word disc would ask, but make sure you Re-Instal. If that doesn't work, Un-Instal Word, then, instal it all over like you had just put it on your computer for the first time. See if that works. If not let me know and I'll be thinking of other possibilities in the mean time.
