Does anyone know of anything I can capture a pic from a DVD with?

While one is playing, I mean. I want to spruce up my notebooks for school by putting some anime stuff on them, but I can't find the pictures I want from the animes and I have the DVD it's on. If I could play it and get the pic from the DVD, it'd help.

No, sorry...

I use a digital camera. Or you can just look on the Internet for screenshots and stuff.
Heart of Sword's Rhapsody

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

You have a DVD-Rom in your PC? If so then the software that came with it should have options, otherwise you'd have to go with the digital camera picture of the TV or a video capture board in your PC.... or just keep searching the Internet for screencaps (not as easy sometimes as it sounds).

I found a 'capture screen' option in the DVD program while it was playing...now, how do I print it? I guess I captured it, it didn't give any response.

Print screen key doesn't usually work on video, Chazz... I was very frustrated by that. Movie maker can capture screenshots, though...

hey Destroyer,
i used to do that too ( capture screen) its easy.

when you press that it creates a folder in your pictures placeamabob

so just go there click on the screen you want, and *print* !

there is a program called bsplayer
http://bsplayer.org/

i know that it can take screen captures, but im not sure if it plays dvds,
it probably does

what he said

on and if you use paint (or some other utility) it would be wise to make the picture smaller. And having it a bitmap is BBBBAAAADDDDD, bitmaps files are tooooo big. You could make it into a Jpeg but the quailty will go down a few, i recommend using an image converter, check http://www.download.com for one, i forgot where i got mine from.
