There is a PC that's fully functional and fits in an NES... The NES PC! Much better than some stupid Apple immitation! That's what I want!

I'm not sure if this is the original... I seem to remember the original retaining the controller ports but here's one http://www.lofi-gaming.org.uk/nespc/index.php

and here's another one

I think that actually might be the original...

I said this about the Mac someone crammed in a VCS case (just to prove it's not my normal anti-PC bias), and I'll say it again: I despise case mods involving classic hardware, even in cases where the classic box in question wasn't fully functional. For me, it's another instance of smashing stained glass windows for l33t props.

Especially given how well those NES systems held up. In my family (extended), we don't have many advanced console systems, so there are still a few old NES in use, with games dated from 1980-83 still (barely) working. Don't like Nintendo much, but that sucker was built to last, working 20-25 years after being built. Not many computers could do that without replacement parts, but this is done under an environment of typical kid abuse... really amazing when you think about it

You know, AnimeHeretic, I hadn't really thought about it before, but I have an even better one. My Atari 2600 is still in working order... Wow. Now THAT's an old system...
