Security flaw in Windows Firefox, Mozilla and Thunderbird

This does not affect Linux or Macintosh users. I don't have any reports of this being exploited in the wild, but it's so easy to install that I'd recommend any users of these browsers do so.

One question... Maybe I'm being paranoid (afterall, it is from Mozilla's website) but why is the patch unsigned if they made it themselves?

That didn't take them long to fix, unlike the Evil one.

Mozilla itself was unsigned when I downloaded it... which is odd. No computer crashing viruses yet.

I will have to do this on my grandmother's computer. She did want a safer internet connection...

It takes to long to sign stuff. You have to get it 'approved' by Microsoft.

;)

Anyway, sorry I didn't post this when I first heard about it. Lastweek...

Good question; I don't know why. That does seem a rather silly oversight.
