digital camera in linux

Does anyone know how to acces a digital camera through a usb port in linux?

Best bet is to see if the manufacturer has written drivers for Linux, otherwise you'll want to try to hunt down some 3rd party drivers.... by itself I don't think you can (unless they've added support for it in Linux).

Maybe as an option you could use the Windows software through Wine.

I'm not quite sure what u want, but for mine, i hook it up to the computer and open the memory stick, i dont think thats what you want though...
