So my touchpad (on Toshiba Satellite L500) has been giving me problems on Ubuntu. WHen I'd type, my text would randomly disappear or post or go bold and I didn't tell it to do that. I have "tap to click" turned off, but this isn't a left click issue.
I realized the problem was related to a right click, as the context menu was coming up, and as I'd type, I'd type the shortcuts on the context menus (often involving undoing or deleting). SO... No "tap to click" but for some reason, the lower right side of the touchpad has right click / context menu tied to the tap... It's like a region button, but I don't know how to turn it off. If I could disable context menus while typing the same way it's supposed to disable the touchpad itself (supposedly) while typing, that would be great. Disable both context menus and right clicks for at least a second or two after I type more than 10 letters.
