Importing in After effects: No sound

Postby Bobtheduck » Sat Nov 04, 2006 1:47 am

I'm trying to learn After Effects, and I've noticed that I can't get any sound from my imported video clips... Any ideas? AE 7.0, tried variety of video formats, including the outputed DV AVI that came straight from premiere, windows XP SP2 I believe, All in Wonder card, onboard sound card, Athlon 64 bit processor... So, yeah... Any ideas?

I guess I'm pretty new to this, I'm not sure what that means... Demuxing?

Oops, sorry :( Demuxing is short for Demultiplexing, which basically means splitting a video file into audio and video components: see http://www.videohelp.com/faq#demultiplex
