CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

MyrrhLynn has given me a cool idea -- we need some avatars for our gallery. This thread is for avatar submissions... make an avatar and post it in this thread!

The rules

1) The avatar must be from an anime that complies with the mission statement - http://www.christiananime.net/forums/misc.php?s=&action=tos
2) It must be 64x64 pixels
3) The quality of it must be fairly decent
4) No stealing avatars off other peoples sites

That's about it really. If you submit an avatar, please accept my thanks

Well I am glad I could be such an inspiration. :lol:

Anyway, here are a few to get this thread started...

That is a really cute avatar of Inu Yasha! Feel free to submit any other avatars you'd think others would enjoy.

I've got piles of avatars-in-the-making, with the .5 GBs of anime images on my HD. ;2) I've already posted some (read above in thread) and more are on the way! ;2)

On a related subject: To any webmaster,

Is it possible to take any avatar submission here and add it to a list that would be accessible from the User CP > Avatars > Edit Avatar by adding a "Select from List" option?

Ok, I am not quite sure what either one of you are asking. :grin:

But I will try to come up with some sort of response. I make them by using templates. I get the templates from a variety of sources including the following:

http://www.jounetsu.net/xapphire/

As far as I know the only way to add borders using templates like these is if you have Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro. I make them in Photoshop and they are very easy to use, you just pick a picture, erase the parts you want to, and then change the color of the template to match.

I made a whole bunch of 60 x 60 avatars for another message board, for use on there if the webmaster wished to. She didn't ask for them, I was just on a weird creative high one night. I just... happen to have these avatars for free use by anyone who wants them.
