First of all, I wish to say that I am incredibly thankful for all the things God has given me. My family, my life, my friends...you all. I might not live in the nicest house, but as long as I am happy, I do not care. Happiness is more important than material items.
Ever since Pre-K and Kindergarten, I have shown an excellence in academics. Two years I had the highest reading average, and one year, I believe...I'm not sure since it was a long time ago, around 2-3rd grade, maybe 4th, but I think I got the highest average in English/Grammar. I made it into the Junior Beta club as soon as the first semester of 6th grade was over, and in 8th grade, I was admitted into Student Council as Secretary. This year, I am also in Student Council, though only as a represenative, as a 9th grade student cannot be an officer. I have never had a yearly average below a 90, though I have had 80's a few times during the year on report cards, and one time a 70, when I was really slacking off. Anyway, now that I am in my first year of high school, things are harder than ever before. Even so, I know I can make it through if I try, due to the gifts God has given me. If possible, and the head of the tech school said it might be, there is a chance that I am going to start going to the Flint River Technical College with my mom in December. She's required to take classes there to get a promotion, while I might be able to just take classes there, and earn college credits. Thank you all for hearing me out.
