Poem - "Un-Everything"

Un-Everything
Falling into myself,
Alone, insecure,
Brooding with
My darker thoughts.
Falling far away,
Isolated, scared,
Dwelling on
What tomorrow holds.
Crying unattended,
Unassisted,
A scarlet pillow
Catching many tears.
Falling into blackness,
Worn, melancholy,
Living night-terrors
When I'm awake.
Falling further down,
Depthless, endless,
Greeting mortality
Close and personal.
Sobbing unconnected,
Unaffected,
A scarlet pillow
Soaking up fears.
Falling far away,
Jaded, wizened,
Seeing reality
Instead of ideals.
Falling into myself,
Desolate, stoic,
Sighing heavily
Toward white ceiling.
Whimpering unoccupied,
Unaided,
A scarlet pillow
Hardening through years.

I wrote this poem in one of my more recent, darker moods. I'm currently suffering from a rather... obnixious staph infection (i.e. it just doesn't want to go away). This was the best way for me to get my feelings out. ~_~
