The Mask Behind the Mirror

Shrouded in Mystery

Forgotten in History

Seeing never Seen

Hearing never Heard

Alone in the Crowd

Between the Gap

Beyond the Glass

Reflections

Come and Go

a Lady of Light

in the morning mist

holds out her hands

as the Sun shines thru

One spys a fleeting glimse

of a smile and a tear

Hidden by

The Mask behind the Mirror

Raye is deep in study in one of her grandfather's books in the Temple library. For she has found a translated passage from an ancient Irish legend.

T'wis was only a little poem or perhaps a song of old. But, as she reads she wonders, "Who could this be and who is he?". She feels this is real and true, hardly just a fairy tale. Gazing at the fire she begins to hear a gentle celtic voice sing this tune.

The Dove
Warrior of Peace
Guardian of
Love & Hope

From ages of old
til the end of time
Standing as a bridge
From Earth to Sun
Rainbow without end
From the Prism within
Sunlight
Pure and bright
Shines on and on
Defeating
the Darkness of Night
Teacher of Truth
Friend true blue
Though this maiden's mask
hides her face from all eyes
With Holy Light she fights
the war of wrong and right
Princess of Wisdom
Why do you carry a servants' staff
and where is thy golden crown?
Her secrets known to One
Who's Kingdom is to come
The Emperor's Son

Loyal and True
Beneath a cloak of night
Shines the Desert Star

Pure and Bright
From Dusk til Dawn
Guarding from afar

The Morning's Light
Only His ears hear
her silent song

Masked by the night
gentle eyes shed
a few lonely tears

Just out of sight
beyond her reach
He patiently waits

Hidden by the night
beats a hopeful heart
of a friend true blue

A gentle breeze blew past
As a light caught her eyes
Unsure of what she saw

Peers into the night
Was it just her imagination?
Had she been right!

It was true, she knew
She whispered, “He Is Real!â€

THE END AND THE BEGINNING

Once upon a time, long ago
a little girl cried all alone

Forgotten in History
Masked by Mystery
Was, Is and Yet to be

seemed none could kept at bay
the evil that had won the day

Forgotten in History
Masked by Mystery
Was, Is and Yet to be

As the morning light began to rise
spoke a voice most gentle and wise

Forgotten in History
Masked by Mystery
Was, Is and Yet to be

Veiled in light, she did see
Healed, as she listened to He

Forgotten in History
Masked by Mystery
Was, Is and Yet to be

He spoke of many things and deeds
of what, only she could be

Forgotten in History
Masked by Mystery
Was, Is and Yet to be

Sweet rhyme and true reason reign
as she the Guardian did became

Forgotten in History
Masked by Mystery
Was, Is and Yet to be

no longer a little girl forlorn
that day a Messenger was born

Forgotten in History
Masked by Mystery
Was, Is and Yet to be

Voice of the Pen
Light of the Word

Forgotten in History
Masked by Mystery
Was, Is and Yet to be

Evil Shadows did know
As His light within her arose

Forgotten in History
Masked by Mystery
Was, Is and Yet to be

came the Dawn of the Son
they fell and were undone

Forgotten in History
Masked by Mystery
Was, Is and Yet to be
