Dreamgiver- poem

Postby girlninja » Sat Apr 09, 2005 10:43 pm

In the human heart
where the pain can't reach
is a place where dreams our held
so deep that even the human
has a hard time seeing.

yet it's there
a small microseed.
a mustard seed the size of grain
and it waits to grow.

Dreams are for the weak
they say, the ones who can't see
Those who forget that the Dreamgiver
gave us those precious wisps.

Its what tells us of better days
of being Superman and Wonderwoman
of saving the day once again
riding into the sunset, a hero in the making.

He gives us the dream
to where when we think we can fly
we start flapping our wings
trying to soar towards the clouds.

He gives us those dreams
where all say that its impossible
cant' be done so stop
He gives us the drive to keep going.

He is the Dreamgiver
the one who says you can do all
So go out and fullfill the dreams
i set before you.

Once again, you almost carry a rhythm. Actually, I find this one rather entertaining. You also seem to recently be hanging to this particular side of intents,
Take it like you gave it; what else matters in the end? To be honest, it's all a one-shot test; that leaves plenty of places to go wrong, but how will you ever know? There's a pointer, I will admit. Turn it on, listen to it, feel it burn.
