hi! i wrote this a couple of years ago when i was depressed, but God pulled me out of depression shortly after and i'm full of the joy of the holy spirit! it has a message so i thought i would post it. ^__^
Shall i deny the giver of life
Rebuke that spirit stand up and fight
Woe to the dead and praise to the life
Follow the voice and forget your strife
It is coming, the time we've all craved
The book has been opened judgement to the grave

I'm falling again, God take my hand
I'm lost and crying out in vain
Lord hear my call, before i fall
Father i'm so lost, rescue me

I'm drowning in lakes of uncertanty
The lies and the hate are too much for me
I'm crying and praying for souls lost in fear
Their voices too hurt, only i hear
I'll speak for you, you will be heard in the end
Your warnings of truth to the world i will send

Waves of depression choke at my throat

Dude, that's awesome. If you play music, or know someone who does, you should try to make that into a song.

heh thinkin on the same for the song lyrics i think it would go well with alternative music if you like that sorta thing ^^
also beautiful poem i also understand teh grips of depression, how hard they are to overcome and how they sometimes come to grip again ^^ but i do wish you to keep writing poems that God has given you the new hope to write ^^ Out of our mouths ring his joyous Praise ^^ keep writing!

sure thing! there actually is one more verse to this thing but i can't find the origional copy of it!! i posted this from memory and decided not to add the last verse because i couldnt find the sheet, now i really wanna post the rest of it!
