Titled, "Struggles and Sin"

Sin is used in this definition
Something regarded as being shameful, deplorable, or utterly wrong
And has religious as well as secular meanings to it.

This poem is a description of how I've been feeling about school and the responsibilities I must accept but I keep running away from. It always is significant in the way I feel about a certain girl, whom I cannot admit my feelings to. And lastly, it pertains to my faith, as so many times I fail to leave my struggles and sins behind and leave them at God's feet and fail to recognize that he is in control of everything and that all I can do is be faithful.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Why do I feel this today?
This hopeless, restless feeling today?
This day, why always this way?
Does it always stay?

Why doesn't it leave me alone so I can be
At
Peace.

Why does it follow me wherever I go
I just don't know
But all I want is to make it flow...
Out
Of
My
Heart.

Why is it just so hard sometimes
To leave it all, all of it behind?
Why can't I leave this place
For a better tomorrow
For a better day
To live the way
That I was supposed to live

My struggles are pinning me against the wall
They're making me fall
But I just can't stop
From AM to PM it surrounds my life
I'm covered in strife
Because of the choices that I must make

Why can't I look at it right in eye
Tell the truth and not be forced to lie
Make up my mind
And then not be afraid to accept...
My
Responsibility.

Please, any comments/compliments are appreciated. I know the form of the poem varies a bit and it's in a A-B-B-A-B format of the stanzas.

We all have our struggles and our past. One thing that I've learned to do is be ashamed of what I've done but not be ashamed to admit it. When you're not ashamed to admit it, you'll be a much happier person.
