ok...i don't always write stories...and if i start to, i rarely ever finish them...i'm hoping that this is one that i will finish...well...here ya go...btw...yes i realize that the title is a song...and no i did not intend that...and yes...i know i've barely even touched the rim with this...but...it's 3:21AM! i'll think of more tomorrow! ...or rather more later on today...if i'm not busy...^^;

Dodging bullets from all sides, he quickly escapes death’s clutches only by finding an opening in the wall. A girl had pulled him in though. She speaks to him but he’s unable to hear her over the sound of bombs exploding and guns going off on all sides. Suddenly a sound of silence allows him only to be able to hear but a few words from her.
“A fight will occur!â€

If you wait around for the clouds to part and a bolt of lightning to strike you in the brain, you are not going to make an awful lot of work. All the best ideas come out of the process; they come out of the work itself. Things occur to you. If you’re sitting around trying to dream up a great art idea, you can sit there a long time before anything happens. But if you just get to work, something will occur to you and something else will occur to you and something else that you reject will push you in another direction. Hmm, interesting opener. I'm curious to see where the story is going. Yeah, the title did sound familiar. Actually, I think the song (and the movie) are called "Live and Let Die".

one part, not trying to bash your story. But one part was a little bit cliched

She sighs and says, “If your father were still-“

that part, a lot of stories and movies have that like "if your father was still here" or "if your father was still alive" etc etc

[quote]He walks out of the California beach house that his dad had left his mom and him about 4 years ago. It was a surfing accident most people say that killed him, but James won’t believe it. He believes it was murder that his dad was shot and thrown off the pier and hit the sand, only to be swept of into sea by the high tide. Although, he couldn’t think of why his father would want to kill himself…but that’s the impression he got. His father was barely ever home.

“I’ll be home late, honey. Some friends an’ I are going to go surfing a bit and catch some shots.â€
