Full Metal Panic, yes? no? cause I saw something that made me think "Whoa"

OK, so I'm in B&N today, looking at manga, and I see Full Metal Panic,
I've heard people say it's good, so I looked at the first volume.
Guess what popped out at me the first page, yes, a colored, full page, picture of the main character taking a shower.

I read most of and and it wasn't really all that bad, but I was wondering if there's anything else in the other volumes that's that bad, or in the anime (if there is one).

I've not read the manga or seen the anime (yes there is one), but I hear there is a lot of fanservice in the series. You might want to read the review in the review section.

Right, i don't know about the manga, but i've seen the entire anime series,(including the second series Fumoffu), the series is mostly fine, there are a few exceptions, excluding a few minor things, one of the episodes of fumoffu they visit a hot spring, with some nudity with "conviniently" placed items so you don't see various parts of the charachters anatomy - this is the only major occurence of this. The first series' but other than that it an excellent quality anime, with great humor throughout, i would reccomend it, personally.
