Translate to Japanese?

Okay, I have a really short song I wrote, and if anyone here knows Japanese (I just started, so I can pronounce pretty well, but I only know a litte....) I'd apprechiate help. It's like only 8 lines long.

I'd like it if you write out how it should be pronounced. For example, Kokoro is pronounced Koe-koe-roe, Tsubasa is pronounce Tss-bah-sah, Ashita is pronounced Ah-shee-tah. I'd like it written out like that so I will have no mistake in singing it properly. I want it for my anime movie.

Here's the song....

Shadows Chased Away
As stars light up the midnight sky
The moonlight chasing the dark away
Something inside of me says there's still hope
Beneath these ashes

Whispers echo throughout
Voices so cold stealing my breath
But even though the pain crawls it's way inside
God comforts me tonight

ARIGATO (THANK YOU)!

My Japanese isn't good enough to translate that, but you do realize that the meter and cadence will significantly change, right?

The what?

I know that the sentence structure is different, and since I have a Jap dictionary, if someone could just arrange the sentences correctly, then I can just translate it myself I guess, it's just I am sorta unsure of the sentence structure (the whole SOV thing). Plus I really wanna pronounce it right, since the dictionary I have doesn't show you how to pronounce it!

He's saying that, if there is a tune you've written, the number of syllables prolly won't be the same, so it will not have the same "feel" musically.

My Japanse is also not good enough to translate for you, though. Gomen!

Oh, I see. But I have not written music to it yet, I want it translated first XD

I could take a stab at a few lines. They'd be rather crude, though, and there's probably better ways of phrasing them. I'd rather not :P

Just out of interest, do you want them in plain form or polite form?

I'm not sure how Japanese songs are written, perhaps plain form.

I can't translate,but I'll give you a few tips on pronounciation.
"O" is always pronounced like "rope" or "solo"
"A" is always pronounced like "father"
"u" is always pronounced like root" except they pronounce it so short, that it's often barley pronounced at all
"I" is always pronounced as "ee"
However, as I mentioned with "U", these vowles are often shortened to sound slightly different, so they arn't always the same, but they should.
Also, when two vowles are put together, they are pronounced individualy, but are often slurred to sound different like "a" and "i" are slurred to the "I" in "like"

sorry if this is long winded or hard to understand. I hope it helps :)
P.S the consanants are pretty much the same as english, except 'r' which is like a slurr between 'r' and 'l'

I just sent it to my uncle's fiancée, so she'll take a look at it.

Here it is! And it will be accurate too, because the translator is Japanese and is also very fluent in English. I'm not too good at writing out pronunciations, though, so maybe someone else can help?

追い払われた影
oiharawareta kage (The song title.)

夜空を星が照らし
yozora o hoshi ga terashi

月光が影を追いやる
gekko ga kage o oiyaru

私の中の何かが語りかけるまだ希望はあると
watashino nakakara nanikaga katarikakeru mada kibou wa aruto

残骸の下から
zangaino shitakara

ささやく声が至る所に響き渡る
sasayakukoe ga itarutokoroni hibikiwataru

声は冷たく息が凍る
koe wa tsumetaku ikiga koru

もし体の奥底まで痛みが忍び寄っても
moshi karadano okusokomade itamiga shinobiyottemo

神様は今夜も慰めてくれる
kamisama wa konyamo nagusametekureru

THANK YOU SO MUCH ANTE-CHAN!!!! The song looks fairly easy, if anyone can help on writing how it is pronounced, that'll be nice, but I *might* figure it out!@ Thank you sooooooo much!
Oh, and tell the person who translated I say thank you as well!
