I think "The Machine" just stole the mgs theme...

I think "The Machine" just stole the mgs theme...

On a sports show called "The Machine" (or something like that), they were interviewing a football player and narrating a biography at the same time. But something is bothering me about it... for maybe 20 seconds or so, they played the mgs2 orchestrated theme in the background!!

I didn't see any credits and I know they didn't all pass in the 2 seconds I turned my head!

Isn't this copyright infringement!?

Did anybody else catch this!?
had enough.

I see similar things on TV. this one show on Animal Planet constantly uses themes from TimeSplitters 2 in the background...

Well yeah... but they must have put the TimeSplitters people in their credits, right?

I posted this because I didn't see any credits when they used Konami's music... Aren't they supposed to put them in some sort of credits?
had enough.

The point of the thread was music being used without permission. If you would like, next time you put a thread on the wrong board...I will simply delete the entire thing as the staff has said they would do in the past.

They most likely got permission from Konami.

However, for just 20 minutes, I am thinking both the sports program and Konami just didn't really care about copyrights. Who knows?

That or they just didn't think no one would catch it if it was just a 20 second clip.

I really doubt they'd get permission for only 20 seconds...

Ive noticed something interesting, when a place is really amazing people say it must be seen to believed ... but the most amazing place ever must be believed to be seen.

This tends to happen a lot. Heck, I was watching American Choppers and one of the songs from Spyro, of all things, started playing.
