Well it's definately still good. Better than Dead Poetic's new stuff. I'm pretty dissapointed from what I've heard off of it. I'll give Oh! Emotiphobia! a few more listens though.

D: Dead Poetic's new stuff made me sad. This, though, at least it's still noticeably Showbread.

OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO FOR OH! EMETEPHOBIA!

Oh! Emetephobia!

Then, we also have an OFFICIAL track list for the CD. No changed titles, just some rearranging of the songs. Check it.

1. Naked Lunch
2. Pachycehalosaurus
3. Your Owls Are Hooting
4. Oh! Emetophobia!
5. Sing Me To Sleep
6. George Romero Will Be At Our Wedding
7. The Jesus Lizard
8. Centipede Sisters
9. Dinosuar Bones
10. Age Of Reptiles

Also, I thought I'd go ahead and post the lyrics to it since this is kind of an all purpose Showbread thread right now.

Oh! Emetephobia by Showbread
-
Dance with me baby, let me hear your voice
If I didn't want to fall for you, I never had a choice
Smear the makeup on my face, run your fingers through my hair
I cannot keep my heart from you, and I don't even care
You turn me inside out
You make me shake and I can't stop
You give new meaning to drop dead gorgeous, and I'm about to drop

You are a song to me
Every note of every chord will set me free, yeah
There's no time before you came along (I know, I know)
Three cheers for the end of twenty one years and nothing else is going wrong

Reverberate and complicate my evenings and my days
And I will only love you more
Well I will count the ways
Dance with me and when you see my pulse beneath my skin
It's racing now, I don't know how to hold the burning in
You've taken from me my defenses
My will is under attack
And baby when I wrap my arms around you
I feel the bones in your back

Oh yeah, your voice is like music
It's music to my ears
I'm not dying anymore, I'm alive baby!

Also, the countdown begins: 14 days.

I just watched the video. Does anyone find it funny that Ivory sang about running fingers through his hair when he doesn't have any anymore?

I'm just hoping that there's more screaming in the rest of the songs...Oh! Emotiphobia and Naked Lunch are good but I'm missing the screaming.

Okay, guys. I have procured The Jesus Lizard. It's amazing. It's straight punk rock. Not pop-punk, just punk rock, with a lot of synth. It's fantastic. The vocals are shouted/screamed. Age of Reptiles is going to slay.

Seven days to Reptilian Raw Rock.

One could perhaps IM me later (I'm not on the right computer, but my IM username is under my profile).

Also, I think someone mislabeled the song. I'm pretty sure this is Centipede Sisters because of the lyrics, but either way, it's really good.

Jamie, don't you know that these mere mortals are not ready for the awesomeness that is SHOWBREAD?
With your doubt, all is comfort
We are all as we appear
No more questions left unanswered
No more wonder, no more fear
Nothing is beauty, nothing's feeling
Blood where there once was a soul
So I ask you, prove yourself
Make me believe that you are whole

5 days to Reptilian Raw Rock.

Also, Showbread made a post about stuff getting leaked on their site so I no longer have Centipede Sisters. I should have just waited. They sounded pretty upset that people were leaking it. I'd rather wait and support the band. Pachycephalosaurus is up on their PureVolume page. It sounds even closer to the old sound of raw rock. This CD is going to be great.

These guys are okay. They seem to be somewhat emo, but their instrumentals, and screaming are really cool. I won't buy this, but I'll just listen to their stuff on Purevolume.

The sound of emo has become so glutted that no one knows what it is anymore.

Showbread draws their clean singing vocal influences from bands like Nirvana and Nine Inch Nails. They are not emo by any stretch of the word. If I was to categorize their old stuff, it'd be hardcore punk. Their new stuff is rock n' roll.

One more day to Reptilian Raw Rock. Also, go to Jesus Freak Hideout to read a review of "Age of Reptiles." It got a 4/5, which is what No Sir, Nihilism Is Not Practical got. I'm pleased, and even more excited.

I wanted to make a post about Age of Reptiles yesterday but I couldn't because I was too perplexed by it and what I thought about it.

Now, though, after having 24 hours to absorb it, it's fantastic. Different, but amazingly good. If you like Showbread, pick it up. You'll be shocked the first time through and won't know what to think, but chances are, it'll get stuck in your head.

I guess you're right. They are Rock N' Roll but they have screaming and grinding guitars.

Trust me, I know what emo music is. I thought this had a somewhat emo style, but I mistakingly threw in emo because of the overall band's appearence. They have no hint of emo in their songs.
