Canon Rock video

Postby Sammy Boy » Wed Sep 13, 2006 3:06 am

Hey all, many of you may already know about this, but in case you don't, here is the link to a video of the rock version of "Canon in D":

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjA5faZF1A8

The rock version is composed by a Taiwan guy named Jerry C (http://jerryc.tw/). The guy playing it in this video is a South Korean student.

Pretty good!

I'm kind of two sided on this. One one hand I REALLY like Pachebel's Canon in D. And it was played really well on the guitar. But it doesn't have the same "awesome euphoric" feel the orchestrated one has.

I have not heard the orchestrated one either.

You gotta remember... I am an uncultured comic-readin', LEGO-lovin', man of intellectual shallowness. :)

Same here, cept change comic-readin' with anime-watchin', and we are very similar!

Although I do have a small collection of Transformers comics. Around 30 of them.

I watch anime too, but probably not as many titles as you. I thought Appleseed was pretty slick. :)

LOL Same. :P

Sorry for getting off subject. Back on, can anyone here play this, in whole or in part, on their guitar? I can only play the 1st 35 seconds, then it gets too fast. I need to practice. :P

That's better than me, as I cannot play any musical instruments whatsoever. :0
