So now the question everyone is waiting for Old or New UnderOath?
Did the new UnderOath finally let fans know that Spencer is the same caliber front man as Dallas. or do old UnderOath fans still think the old stuff the better cd.

From what I have seen, everyone likes Old Underoath better (with the exception of teenage girls), although they are glad that they moved away from their style on They're Only Chasing Safety, and that's definitely an improvement.

There older stuff was pretty rad but nothing I was crazy for. Thier new cd is to Norma Jean'ish for me.

Though their old stuff is awesome I just like the sound of Spencer's screaming more. Old UnderOath had better lyrics by far...But I just think that Spencer has a better voice.

Yes Old Underoath did have better lyrics but the new cd shows alot of improvement. But I was not a fan of old underoath at all. Aaron (the drummer) said himself that they were a bunch of teenagers who didn't know what they were doing. but then again I hav e only heard crappy qaulity stuff. But anyways....anyone heard Aaron's side project cd. The almost is what he calls himself for the name of the band. He does literally everything but production on the cd.

Cries Of The Past was definately the better of the two older ones. Honestly I don't really think that they should be comparing old verses new UnderOath since in essence they are two completely different bands. But still I think that Spencer just has a better screaming voice.

very true they are light and dark when compared. It was like it was two different bands which in a since is right since Aaron is the only member to stay the whole time.
