2005 Top 10 Music Survey!

Postby Kkun » Thu Dec 22, 2005 3:10 pm

I did something like this last year for your top 5 favorite albums of 2004. Well, this year, I'm going to do it a little differently. Rather than just do the top 5, I'm going to do your top 10 albums of 2005, plus a few extra questions.

1. Name your top 10 favorite CDs of 2005.
2. What CDs did you buy this year? (optional, as this list may be huge for some people)
3. What are your favorite CDs you bought this year that did not come out in 2005?
4. Favorite new artist of 2005 (new artist meaning that they have only had one debut album on a major label. EPs do not count against this.)
5. Favorite sophomore album of 2005?
6. Biggest disappointment of 2005?
7. CD you wanted to hear the most but did not get around to buying?
8. Band You Listened To The Most in 2005?

8. Band You Listened To Most In 2005?
Early 2005 was still spillover from 2004 with the new mewithoutYou and Showbread albums but by May, I was completely and thoroughly hooked on Coheed and Cambria and have listened to them quite a bit since around May, so Coheed and Cambria wins this category hands down. Between buying all three of their studio albums plus their live DVD/CD set, they could have probably been considered my "favorite band" of 2005.
I'm a shoe-in for hater of the year.
