Quick 30 minute oekaki I did a couple days ago. ^.^ 'tis my wolf boy Liang. Liang says woof. Woof woof woof. o.o


I spent a ridiculous amount of time on this one because I'm rather unaquainted with the watercolor options. ^_^; I think it came out okay - my elvish priest Rithien, whom I've never drawn before this. O.o I like him, though. He needs more love.


Unaquainted with halftones, too. ^_^; It's harder than digital screentoning in Photoshop, that's for sure. =3 My vampire character and namesake, the original Kokoro Daisuke. (xD; He's Daisuke and I'm Kokoro, lol)

Ooh, oekaki are so pretty~ I like them, Kokoro-chan. ^^ Where did you draw them?

2 hour thingy I did today. =3 After seeing the last episode of Tactics, I HAD to have a character who was a Tengu, and I HAD to do a picture with copious amounts of sakura. This was the result. Behold Tsubasa-sama, my headstrong tengu who believes the Meiji revolution never happened. x3;

Oh, and AngelSakura: I oekaki at my friend's private BBS thingy. xD; Ish fuuunnnn.

Wow. Those are awesome. I tried an oekaki once and couldn't figure out what on earth I was supposed to do. Really neat stuff! You would recommend Photoshop for screentoning and such?

sankyuu everyone! ^^ As a general rule, I use PaintBBS for ALL my oekakis (oekakiBBS is icky), and I use Photoshop for screentones, because it's sooooo nice to have multiple layers for those things. T_T *kicks the measely 2 layer oekaki*

yea i hated oekakiBBS. I thought shi painter had some cool features like the pen tool that'd make line art a lot easier but the way the watercolor tool would push the color you've already added with it before just going over it really annoyed me because it warps the stuff around where you're going over.

I vaguely remember ShiPainter. >__>; It's been a while since I've used it.

An oekaki is like a messageboard on the internet, except instead of regularly posting you can open up a program on the site and draw something to post. =3

Another cute doodle I did today. x3 Ish my character Arioc...he's supposed to look HAPPY, but he looks like his hat is demon posessed and sucking his brains out instead. Which wouldn't surprise me, actually, since he is an exorcist. =O
