This will go at the top of my web site, and a simplified version will go on business cards etc. What do you think?

I think that's clever what you did with the eyes (or should I say o's ? ) Hmm...but I'm thinking it would look better if the words were darker? Or maybe a darker background? I dunno...something

Hey GG:
Are you looking at it on a flat panel monitor? Sometimes those can wash out colors...

Hmmm... yeah, I see what you mean. Perhaps there's a bit too much hilighting on the letters.
Thanks a lot for your input!

No. Just your normal, '98 monitor screen. Wasn't significant enough to post but I didn't want to leave your question unanswered

Yeah, maybe that's it
What business is this for anyway? Or is it my business to know your business? I mean, it's your business but I'm making it my business to know what business you have for whatever business you're working on if a business does exist. Or would you prefer that I stayed out of your business? Not saying that I'm trying to work for your business (which, in a way, would make it my business) but I'm just trying to do business with you on this situation about your business which is your business.
Everyone: "Get outta here why don't ya!"

It's my business, but I made it your business when I posted this thread about the new logo for my business. Anyway, it's an art business, in which I am in the business of sculpting like nobody's business.
I sculpt critters. Go to my
Elfwood Gallery to see some of them, as well as some 2D art. "Mightier Than the Sword" is my favorite critter, but look at "Roan" and "Wolfsong" too. (Word of warning: don't click on "Dryad Transforming" unless you can deal with a nekkid bum -- and I don't mean homeless person.)
Eventually a lot of the stuff in my Elfwood gallery will be on my Eirewolf Creations website, along with more stuff you won't see on Elfwood. So I wanted to make a spiffy website to house my critters (and sell them).
Thanks again everyone for the kind comments!

It is very lovely, Eire. ^_^ What's the name of the text font you used, though? I've seen it before used in other things, and I've wanted to use it myself for some of my own projects because it's quite a nice font, but I have no idea what it's called.

I really like the design very much. Nice use of the wolf eyes!

Am I the only one that doesn't like the wolf eyes? Eh, maybe it's just me Eire. Other than that, I really like it.

Yes! I finally found your logo!!! XDXD Everyone, just to let you know this logo is dangerous.
LOL I love it, Eire!
You did a great job on this.
Now, yes I love the eyes in the "o's" and I love the Celtic knotty twine thingy around the name "Eirewolf Creations," however I see what GG meant and I'd have to agree with her. Perhaps if you darkened the Celtic knotty twine around the name or lightened the lettering it would work better. I just think you need some more dramatic light and dark on your logo for contrast. I mean, it looks great the way it is - but, if you want it to look even
better.
Anyways, I will be visiting your business once you find that there website.

Thanks, MelodyMaker! The font is called American Uncial. You can buy it at MyFonts.com for $19.95. There are similar ones for free floating around on the web, but they're knockoff copyright violations. Since I'm using it very prominently in my logo, I thought I would preclude the whole lawsuit possibility and cough up the 20 bucks.
But yeah, that's my favorite font ever.

Thanks! I'd really like to know what you don't like about the eyes, though. It's not set in stone yet, and if I can improve it, I want to, before I go live with the web site. Is it the color? The shape? The fact that I used wolf eyes in the logo, period? Something else? Please, give input...

Of
course I want it to look even better! The point here is to have the best darned logo in the entire world. *ahem* Okay, maybe not, but it should be pretty darned good.
I will play around with it and see what I can come up with.
Thanks so much everyone for your comments; they're very helpful and encouraging! Keep 'em coming; if you have suggestions I'd love to hear them!

Okay... I played with the background to give it more contrast. Which do you like best? I'll post the original first, for reference:

Hey Eire, nice ones. I think I like the one in the middle the best. Is the first one your first try? I think that one works good too, but I do like the lighter background in the middle. Cool. ^_________^

Yay! I like that one too. Thanks t_n_c!
The first one is the first try, yes. Well, it's actually about the millionth try... but it's the same as on the first page of this thread.
