OK, I'm curious, what would you do if the world really was going to end tomorrow?
Note: I wanted serious answers, that's why this isn't in goof off.

Continue on with the rest of my day until the world ended. No use in panicking. If it were to happen, it is what it is, and nothing can be done. I would also pray more so than usual, make sure my heart is right with the Lord.

Sit back and try to finish the books that I have in progress. Dying without knowing the endings would suck :/

Calm all the other people in the world who were terrified of what was about to happen. Do my own self-inventory to ensure I had nothing that had not been confessed to God. Gather with family as I could and encourage them.

Just as Ally said, I would do nothing different. I'd go into work and take my 911 emergency calls or dispatch police officers to help with whatever catastrophe or other situations were going on.

Hmm... I think I'd try to help getting so many people to believe in Jesus as I could. Day and night. I know that this would be difficult though...

I would do the same things that the Obsolete Man did in that one episode of the Twilight Zone.
In case you haven't seen it:

That's one of my favorite episodes! Such a great story! I love that twist ending.

Know that the Mayan calendars are circular and their calendar is just going to turn into another calendar and not give a crap.

Turns out, the end of the world is cancelled, my boss tells me it was postponed due to reasons and just as planned. Personally I think he just liked to rustle your jimmies.

The Mayans didn't know about Leap Years. We are 6 months past the End Of The World.

Mayans used lunar calendar, not the solar one. But then again, we're talking about a group of people
who believed Humans were made of corn.

I'd rejoice like crazy. Who wants to live in this messed up world when Heaven's waiting?

Depends, what kind of end of the world is it? Flooding, freezing, fire from the sky, fire from the core, nuclear fallout, random zombies just 'cuz, the world just gonna fall apart?

I would call up every single person I've ever cared about and try to have as many last meaningful conversations with them as I could.

And with the Mayan calendar, what part of the world was it going to happen first? I live in the U.S.A. on the east coast, so we're only 20 minutes away from the 21st (It's 11:00.). But in China, they're twelve hours ahead of where I live (And where the Mayans lived), therefore they're already well-into the 21st, and nothing catastrophic has happened over there in the last several hours. There's absolutely nothing to worry about. But that's not exactly on topic here, so I'll get back to the original question at hand.
I would also call my two best friends and talk to them until the end. I'd rather be comforting my friends rather than blubbering and loosing my control without getting a last goodbye to my closest friends. Well, a temporary goodbye, anyway; we'd all see each other again in Heaven, so it wouldn't truly be my last time seeing them.
*Looks at post* I'm taking this way too seriously.

It would depend on why the world is ending. There's a pretty significant difference between a meteor causing human extinction and, say, Ragnarok.

For anyone taking the Mayan stuff seriously:
http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news ... myths.htmlArticle Tl;dr "'The idea is that time gets renewed, that the world gets renewed all over again—often after a period of stress—the same way we renew time on New Year's Day or even on Monday morning,' said Aveni, author of The End of Time: The Maya Mystery of 2012."

I'd do the same. There's definitely no sense in panicking when our destination will be Heaven.

Ah, I didn't know you mean the Maya end of the world. I don't believe in such stuff.

This.
Also I'd pray to the Lord to give everyone strength and to be with everyone in their hearts and to comfort the fearful and uncertain - and for people who don't know Jesus to embrace Him into their lives.

I would pray to God and thank Him for the life he has given me, spend some time with my family, and call up my friends and work colleagues and ask if any of them want to know about Jesus.

I'm just going to be honest and say if the world were ending today I don't really know what I'd do. I'd like to think I'd be calm and collected, a comfort and help to everyone around me. The truth is I'd probably have a panic attack though.
Well, we'll see what happens if and when the day comes, if it does happen in my lifetime.
