Panoz is an American company, bro. Also, what about the Shelby SSC Aero/whatever they ended up calling it? Seems like it'd fit with all them limited-production supercar thingies.

Chaparral 2-series (a variety of designs for the old Can-Am racing series, containing varying degrees of engineering madness and/or genius. Also American.)

Ferrari F40 (sounds lovely to drive)

How are you defining "supercar"?

I can only think of one super car that deserves to be on my list of favorites.
