Fake or Real: What kind of tree do you have?

Postby rocklobster » Sun Dec 04, 2011 6:12 pm

We finally put our tree up yesterday, so I'm doing two polls about it.
First, I want to know if you have a fake tree, like I do, or if you go out and buy the real thing.

Fake tree. For the living room, and a mini one for my room.

We have an artificial tree and we've been using it for like 20+ years so it's pretty special.

Fake. We don't have the room, the money for, or the means of keeping a real one alive for that period of time. Clean-up is also a lot easier than for my friends that do have real ones.

I voted fake. While we don't have one at the moment, we will get a new one shortly after my husband's return. Last fake one was too skeletal.

>_>
<_<

We usually get a real tree and have never had any trouble with insects or the like. Sometimes they die too soon, though. :<

I love the smell of pine, though. 8)

We don't have one yet, but we always get a real one. We live in a forest, and unowned/crown land and stuff so it's not that hard.

Fake tree. But to get the pine smell, we got pine scented candles and it works and no headaches.

I'm pretty sure my siblings went this weekend to get a real tree. We've had one every year, and they seemed pretty adamant about having a real one again when I saw them over Thanksgiving.

For most of my life we've had a real pine tree but the last few years we've had a fake tree. We don't put our tree up until 5-10 days before Christmas.

We haven't gotten a tree yet, but once we do it'll be a real one. My mom said this is our last year for a real tree, but she's been saying that for awhile now. xD

We have a real one. We've always have. I love the smell and we've never had a problem with bugs. It's snowy and freezing, so they have a hard time surviving during the period the tree stays outside for.

Our tree is for reals yo:)all right enough kidding around. What we do now is get a tree that's about three to four feet and 10 inches tall and put it on the coffee table. We save space that way (and money to.)

Having to help get the real one home is rough sometimes. xD

Ours is always real, tall, and usually fat. Then it gets saturated with over a decade of accumulated decorations, and we cram an angel on top.

We haven't got our tree yet, though. We usually get it late, and let it be through early January. (My mom likes it that way so we still have it up at Epiphany.)
