Today is 9/11/10, the ninth anniversary of the WTC bombing. This thread is in remembrance of that tragic event.

I suppose it would be highly highly inappropriate to say happy death day to all of you...
But seriously. May God bless and comfort all the families who lost loved ones.

Amen.
(And yes, I'm sure it would be very wrong to say something like "Happy 9/11". So, what to say instead?)

It wasn't really a bombing it was more of a kamikaze attack using innocence people on airliners to kill other innocence people in buildings in New York City, Arlington, VA and the crash of the airliner in Somerset, PA which could have been an attack on a unknown Washington DC building.

The following statement is meant to be a joke. I am not being serious, and wish in no way to spark debate, because I'm not being serious. That said.

Come on, man, open your eyes! That's what THEY want you to believe.
In all seriousness though, it's likely rock was confusing it with the actual
WTC bombing in 1993, so he just mistyped. I don't think he really believes conspiracy theories.
That said, I'll get out of this thread before I make more enemies.

I think they should air
this episode every September 11th. Although, I'm sure there are quite a lot of people with no sense of humor who would complain about it.

The best part of that episode, even though it wasn't in the part you posted, was earlier when Homer calls the parking violations bureau about his car. The automated messages by themselves were funny, but the best part was the female voice saying "Officer Steve" and then a gruff male voice saying "Grabowski," implying that every parking officer in New York has the first name Steve. XD
