CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

Who all is in Cali, and what anime conventions are going from May to August or so in Cali?



*Is based in Camp Pendleton, California, Near San Diego, btw.

I am a San Diegite, and on April 4-11 San Diego is having its first anime con, Anime Conji. I don't know if I'll attend because I was invited to a wedding on that Saturday.

Around Memorial Day is a San Jose con, Fanime. It's probably the biggest fan-run con ever.

4th of July weekend is Anime Expo (in LA). If you go to no other con, go to that one.

There's also Comic-Con (also San Diego), which to be honest is getting less and less fun since going there feels like an asphyxiation. This is usually in the end of July.

There are actually a pretty large number of CAAer's in California, with myself being among them (until August, anyways).

I think that Ingemar covered most of the cons.

i'm in cali, but unfortunately not going anywhere that i know of this year. i live in the far northern sticks...>.<

I'm in Cali, but a bit too far away from Camp Pendleton unfortunately. Plus I won't be here much longer.

I'm in Cali... though, nowhere near SD for the foreseeable future.

Camp Pendleton is a bit far from San Diego... you're probably better off going to LA-based events.

My parents are in SD, so it's conceivable I could go. However, I already have plans for that time frame, so I will not. XD
