The always faithful Roy strikes again with convention schedules!
Come to think of it, I need to prepare for Animazement in May.
I wish I could go to the new Ichibancon, but I can't! Aw...

I've got my tickets for our state convention already. It's my third year, and the con's third hotel. XD

I'll be going to Otakon again, as will Nekochan_C and IchiTone.

I should be going to Anime Los Angeles this year.
Fanime is a huge maybe, as it may overlap a weekend event that my church might be putting on (just like last year...).
Anime Expo? Heh... count on it!

I'm going to try to make to AWA this year, but I don't know if I will count on it.
Have a little to much on the plate to buy this year that I may have to cut AWA out again this year.

So many wonderful cons this coming year. I wish I could go to all of them. *A*
Thanks for keeping us updated, Roy.
I'm working as staff at my state's local con (because I have no money lol) and I have distant dreams of going to Otakon. But we'll see how things go. ^_^

I'll be going to Otakon for sure and I'm trying to make it in time for Katsucon but that doesn't look like it will be happening. ;__; I'm also going to try to debut a few cosplays at Nekocon, Costume Con, and HOPEFULLY at Fanime. ^_^

Baring any unforeseen disasters (in other words, lack of funds) my con schedule for 2010 should be:
Katsucon, Animazement, Otakon, and Anime USA
(my friends will probably try to get me to go to Dragon*con again, but I'll probably be too poor to even think about it, just like this year)

I will try to get to Castle Point Anime Convention or SpringFestNY, since they're the closest to where I am. By the time Otakon comes around I'm no longer in the US.

Being broke is causing me to start saving money, and theoretically I might have enough by May. I hope I can go!

Right now, it looks like I can only go to one con this year.
The list of the cons that I have are,
Anime Weekend Atlanta
Otakon
Chicago Kollision Con
But I think that I end up going to AWA this year, because it will be my only con that I will be able to go to for the next two years.

After attending my first convention last year at AWAcon 15, I've been really hyped for this year's events. There aren't a lot in my range, but so far I've got plans for 3 conventions thus far.
MTACAWA-conAnd the newcomer:
Kami-Con---
A little plug here: This is the 2nd year for Kami-Con, a growing convention held yearly at the University of Alabama. It is FREE to attend, and they've already attracted some big names such as Vic Mignogna and
LittleKuriboh. If you're in the area, it'd be awesome to stop by and show your support! XD Plus, it'd be great to meet some people from CAA there.

Just sent in a panel application for AnimeBoston~

I wouldn't go to MTAC. They have it around the same time that Vanderbilt University has their graduate class and all of their familes are there. MTAC uses the hotel that is at Vanderbilt University.
Also, the con head cause some problems with a voice actor and his panel after they agree to his panel then they didn't like it and turn around told them shut it down.
I don't have many good things to say about MTAC and boycot it by all means.

I wish our con would have Vic as a guest one year, at least. For the most part the same guys keep coming back. Oh, well, for this year they have Nabeshin, but otherwise I think everyone's the same. XD

Ah, wow. O.o I understand your concern. Is there a news article or something on this? I should show it to my friends. I've been invited to go with some good friends of mine to MTAC, and they're the reason I'm going, not because I'm supporting something like that. What can I say? Beggars can't be choosers. But like I said, if there's an article, I'll let them know so they can take it into account. I don't think they know about that.

And a friend of mine on another site was begging me to go to Katsucon, but I think I'm a little late for that. Especially considering I have exactly 70 dollars to live on for...well, the entire foreseeable future.
Naturally, this doesn't bode well for my appearance chances at Otakon either.

I would love to go to Comiket someday. Anyone know of any cons in Korea? So I could feel even more out of place than I already do at a con in the US? I wonder if Korea even has conventions like that...

It was an under the table thing and no press release about it. It was only reported by the people that were there and the voice actor.
It one of the reasons why a few actors haven't been back to that con for that reason and don't plan to.

Comic World con. Currently, Seoul Comic World is held once a month and Busan Comic World once every two months and its the next biggest anime convention next to Comiket of Korea.

A friend of mine says that there are problems between the people that head up Anime Expo. He says that there is some dispute going and people are bailing.
I seen on the list that some cons are canceled or postponed.

I feel your pain. While I DID manage to scrape together enough to GET to Katsucon, I think I'm going have, like, $4.75 left to actually do anything with.
