Since no one else has made this thread, I thought I'd make one. This thread is all about what your favorite dessert is. It can be anything!

Think and post of the dessert that makes your mouth water every time you hear the name. Also, I'll answer this now so no one will ask later. You can post multiple desserts but try to keep it under 5.

My favorites are:
Bavarian Creme Cake
Cheesecake(Any kind will do. Chocolate, Strawberry, Rasberry....)
Birthday Cake Remix(A flavor of ice creme from Coldstone.)
Chocolate vanilla cake

I love cheesecake!!! It's wonderful! More than normal cakes!!! I like other types of cakes, too...but sometimes the icing is too sugary...ah well.

I also like Hello Dolly squares, Rhubarb Crisp, and Pumpkin Pie! They're really good!

I forgot about green tea ice cream and red bean ice cream. Those are both amazing.

Ice cream -- nothing else, just ice cream. Lots of it, preferrably in a flavor that combines coffee and chocolate.
Crepes -- never had real ones from France, but kalsdf Japanese crepes so good. >3<;
Chocolate chip cookies -- 'nuff said

I agree! Cake is often either too dry or too sickeningly sweet.

My homemade yogurt with honey and instant coffee powder mixed into it.
(I am not kidding: it is fantastic stuff.)
Any standard flavor of sherbet.

Creme brulee, cheesecake (particularly chocolate mousse cheesecake), and fruit-filled crepes are all fairly high on my list. I also enjoy high quality ice cream, as well.

I love cheesecake too but in your excitement, you seem to have forgotten one thing.

Cheesecake is a pie, not a cake!

There are a few reasons it can be proven to be a pie. For one, cheesecake has a crust. Cake never has a crust, but pie does. Second, cake contains flour, and rises in an oven. Cheesecake contains no flour, nor does it rise.

Thus, cheesecake is proven to be a pie, not a cake, despite its name.

But yes, I love cheesecake. Certain kinds of ice cream are also pretty okay. I'm not really a big fan of sweet stuff, so it's difficult for me to have a favorite dessert.

Cheesecake is the best pie. *nods sagely* Only pumpkin comes close, and even then, it isn't really even that close.

Here's my favorite five:

sugar cookies
chocolate eclair cake
raw cookie dough

The last one above is probably the least healthiest. ^^;;

And because it's so sugary it counts as a desert to me: my newest food-related Achilles heel has become iced mochas. AUGHSOGOOD.

As of recently I'm really liking sex in a pan. My dad always makes it and it's SOOO good with milk ^_^

Of course, my all time fav is CHEESECAKE. And in my heart it'll ALWAYS be a cake.
And banana cream pie has my heart as well.

@ Blackroses-WHAT?! What is this sex in a pan? That sounds like eating straight up sin. Im just kidding, but Im still very curious. Could you post what it is?


@ Nate-But why then is cake in the name of cheesecake? It just doesn't make any sense. I do agree it is a pie, but still the name is weird.

Come to think of it though, cheesecake does sound more natural than cheesepie. Cheesepie would never catch on right now.

I also do enjoy pumpkin pie, but cheesecake is the best though.
