Ok. I have a dog, "Daisy". She is a boston terrior and she is black and white. She has a white mark on her head that looks like a sitting cat. The most funniest thing this dog does is she has a raquet ball she plays with and she will get it slobbering wet then shoot it out of her mouth and then chase it down the hall.

I love big dogs. The really small ones, not liking them so much. Also the ones with very unwolfish heads I'm not very fond of.

The one dog I've owned was when I was really young and it made a big impression on me. Her name was Cheva and her fur was a beautiful combination of gold, yellow and white. Her mother was a purebred Chow Chow and her father was . . . some combination of Irish Wolfhound, German Shepard, and Husky we think . . . maybe a few others. Anyway, we were born at about the same time and grew up together, getting along really well. It was really sad when we had to put her down because of cancer. Hasn't been convenient since then for us to get another dog, unfortunately.

I love dogs. I've had four in my lifetime. They are the best animal companions God has given us. This is why I hope Heaven has dogs in it.

I'm fine with dogs, I had one most of my life, but I actually prefer cats... it's just my body doesn't, as I'm allergic to them.

We had a dachshund from about the time I was 11 to just a few years ago. Before that, we had a cocker spaniel (not the best dog we had, for sure), as well as a brittney spaniel (awesome dog)

I'm not interested in normal pets, though. If i was gonna get a dog, I'd want a coyote or half-coyote. Since I don't do the whole "alpha male" thing, though, and like playing with my dogs on the floor, a big dog probably actually wouldn't be a good idea for me (especially a wolf / coyote).

oops THIS is the link I wanted to post http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yIEifRz3554 haha,

....Ummm...I'm allergic to dogs. I have gotten to the point where I can them with my hands, but other than that I'm hopeless. I have grown up with dogs though, and I love them. Best dog I ever had was a chocolate lab named Sugar that taught me how to walk. Sadly, I had to put her down last year.

I used to have a rottweiler, Shana, when I was little. Got her as a puppy and I practically grew up with her. She was amazingly smart, very protective, and strong too. I used to wrestle with her. Unfortunately, we had to put her down a few years ago. Heartworms and arthritis in her legs got her, she could barely walk at all.

If I were to ever get another dog, it would be a rottweiler. I love large dogs yet despise small dogs.

I have a small dog called Luca... she's somewhere between a dacshund and a miniature Doberman... she's very cute but suffers from "only child syndrome" where she is imensely spoilt by the whole family. Honestly though, I prefer rats... I have 5 of those, all boys and the one is with me at work today because he got an abcess because of an infected stitch and hasn't eaten anything since yesterday... it sucks...

I also prefer bigger dogs, my fiance has a chow chow and a husky, both of whom I adore!... it's so much fun going for a run with the husky cuz she drags you the whole way and really really tests your fitness...

Well, Bob the Duck, we are on the same team. I am allergic to them too. I ended up in the hospital last year for a week over a cat allergy attack.

My mom's allergic to dogs (actually, she's allergic to practically any animal with fur). We have a basenji named Levi, because basenji's are hypoallergenic :thumb: Other than him, we've never owned a cat, dog, or any other animal with fur. And basenjis are...an interesting breed. They don't bark, for one...Except they get bored really easily, and can't be left alone...they'll destroy something >___< I still love Levi anyways. He has his cute moments ^^

I'm also a dog lover.

I have a pit bull/shar pei mix thats nine years old and completely deaf.
However I still love her none the less. The vets found her after she got hit by a car
a realitive who worked at the vet hospital brought her over so she could play in our yard in stead of the kennal yard.
after a day of hanging out with the poor thing our family took her in.

Owning that dog has taught me all sorts of lessons about love and compassion.
But also that despite bad publicity Pit bulls or pit mixes get. They really do make wonderful pets.
If, you don't train them to be mean and attack they can be as loving and warm as any other breed.
Sadly what makes the poor animals mean is some of their jerk owners.

I like german shepherds, huskies (the real fluffy ones that look like wolves), pomeranians (thought they can be quite jumpy), pugs, all sorts really.

My dog did something really weird the other day (though .. he does that often). I was helping my mom water plants and my dog decided to lay on his back with his legs up and act as if he was swimming or something.
