Well, maybe that's taking it a little too far =w= But I like the "presenting food at home as if it were a restaurant" type thing. I wonder if i I can manage to make something slightly more complex than a TV dinner www

I think Instant Ramen employing this idea would be a furiously awesome spin on the home-restaurant idea! If you're afraid of how something might turn out, there's always candle-lighting to hide the actual food from view. XD

BTW: If you want to get more complicated, there are lots of dishes that are amazingly simple to make. I think my first dish was spaghetti. It's hard to mess that one up. XD

I'd suggest that (personally) simply because I've always wanted to go paintballing. Also, it is kinda romantic-ish, right? (*10 Things I Hate About You*).

I would say that doing something like instant ramen would entirely be feasable! You can dress it up by putting some veggies in (like some bamboo shoots- you can get those canned at the local gorcery store in the ethnic isle-, chopped green onions, sliced green pepper, and a boiled egg! The egg should be peeled and sliced in half before putting it in the ramen first, of course XD ). Or you can just put in carrots, onion, and garlic- just make sure to let the veggies boil long enough to get tender, and there you go!

See, you could totally offer him a hug, and then shoot him.

Well, maybe that wouldn't be nice.

But don't in the back, that's backstabbing maybe after whispering "I'm going to get you in the back" then doing it!

Let's get back on track, shall we? Derailing a perfectly good thread with quotes filled with sexual innuendo is clearly outside our site purview.

That's not backstabbing. That's shooting back. Completely different connotations.

That being said, wait until he's at least 15-20 feet away, because nobody likes being point-blanked. Then lead your team to crushing victory.

Unless you're on the same team, in which case what the heck, man? Not even cool.

Give him the gift of an Uwe Boll movie marathon.

What's a Uwe Boll?

Anyway you should ask him what he likes to do (I'm running out of ideas)

@ Furen-You could try to Google or Wiki to answer that question. I find it better to find the information first-hand than waiting for it second hand from someone else.

I'm going to try my hand at making ten-don. I know he likes it, and it doesn't look TOO hard.

Well, I think it's more like it's easy to make but hard to make well >.>;

She probably meant something like it's easy to make it but you only get an average result, and making it really well would require more skill.

Right. Like a Caesar salad. It's pretty easy to make, but mine NEVER taste all that good. Compare that to plenty of places that all make average, but not bad salads. Tonight, however, I had a GREAT Caesar salad. It's easy to make, but hard to make well.

Hm... I thought I could help a lot, but I realized that I don't give my friends really all that much consistently except baked goods and Pokemon. O__O We hang out a lot more than exchanging gifts, but it's usually for video games or coffee, ice cream, etc.

You could try going to the park, and if either of you have dogs, bring them along- it's so cute to watch a dog romp around and explore, while you have a nice conversation with your friend. Or sit outside until the sun sets and talk about life, and then break out the sparklers and cameras when it's really dark. :D Sorry I can't help that much, lol.

Oh! But if he likes Magic (which I believe you said he does...), maybe you could find a Magic tournament near you and make it a day trip out? That's what my friends do.
