Otakon '09

I figure I make a separate thread so it can be more concentrated and not mixed up with other con information.

So who is going? By last minute decision it turns out that I am! I'm going to be picking up my badge Friday morning. As far as I know, we're going to have a low turnout of CAAers this year. So far we have:

Me
Peanut
Nate
Hitomi...whatever his face is HE IS AND FOREVER WILL BE SPOONY BARD TO ME.

Rushiar
Ashfire
Blitzkrieg
Closet Otaku + Wife

I looked at the forecast for this weekend.

Mostly crowded with a 98% chance of Rushiar.

I'll be trying to pick up my badge Thursday evening, and getting a hotel room by myself Thursday night. Htom was awesome enough to offer me a room with him, which will help with the expenses.

And I shall be cosplaying all three days as Kadoya Tsukasa from episode one/theme song of Kamen Rider Decade. :p

Wife and I will be there. We fly Narita > Dulles Thursday AM, then go to pick up pre-reg Thurs evening.

Will be feeling that wonderful jet-lag buzz, but that's the norm for Otakon anyways...

I will be there Thursday with my buddy from our old anime club staying at the Holiday Inn. After I get my pass I'll get something to eat and head back to the hotel. I hope the weather holds off the rain they call for Fri and Sat. Nothing like a Baltimore down pour. Last time it was surfs up on Charles Street to the Inner Harbor.
I changed pagers so my number has changed. I guess just look for someone wearing fire dept shirts and hat to find me.

I was thinking of possibly going Friday to catch the MELL concert but work will not allow this (don't they know it's MELL!?) >_> and I missed pre-reg. So, no yukolicious this year. Hope you guys and gals have a lot of fun, take megaloads of pictures!
